About 20% of Jim’s caseload is devoted to Family Law issues, including Divorce, Custody, Parenting Time, and Support. While he staunchly advocates for his clients, he continually stresses that cooperation between the parties on property, visitation and support issues saves the client and their ex or soon to be ex spouse stress, time and attorney fees. Jim emphasizes to every client at the outset of the case that the more the parties have to pay the attorneys, the less there is in the pot to split at the end of the day. He firmly advocates mediation in domestic cases.
